Ensure you have sufficient storage space on your device. Try exporting to a different format (JSON or PDF) or contact support@pediary.net for assistance.
Check your device notification settings and ensure Pediary has permission to send notifications. On iOS: Settings → Notifications → Pediary. On Android: Settings → Apps → Pediary → Notifications.
Try restarting the app or your device. If the problem persists, ensure you have the latest version installed from the App Store or Google Play.
No. Pediary is NOT a medical device and is NOT intended for medical use. It is a health tracking tool designed for parents to organize and record their children's health information. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Always consult your pediatrician for medical advice.
Your child's health data is protected with industry-standard security measures:
Yes! You have complete control over your data. You can export all your child's health records at any time in standard formats (JSON, PDF) from the app settings. This ensures you always have access to your data, even if you stop using Pediary.
You can delete your data at any time:
All data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, including from backup systems. We will send you a confirmation email once deletion is complete. This is your right under GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA.
Pediary is designed for parents, guardians, and caregivers to track health information for children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. The app is used by adults (18+) to record and manage their children's health data. Parents maintain complete control over all data entry and access.
No. Your data is stored exclusively on your device. Pediary has no access to your data and therefore cannot share it with anyone. You decide if and with whom to share your information, for example by exporting a PDF to send to your pediatrician or a backup to share with a family member.
When you record a medication, you can optionally set up reminders. The app will send you a notification at the scheduled time to remind you to give the next dose. Reminders are stored locally on your device and do not require an internet connection. You can enable/disable notifications in your device settings.
Yes! Pediary works completely offline. All core features (recording temperature, medications, symptoms, and viewing timeline) work without an internet connection. Data is stored locally on your device. Internet connection will only be needed for optional cloud sync (upcoming feature in development).
Currently Pediary uses local storage, so uninstalling the app will permanently delete all data stored on that device. We strongly recommend exporting your data before uninstalling. In the future, we will implement cloud sync, which will allow you to keep your data in the cloud and restore it when you reinstall the app.
No. Pediary is not FDA-approved, CE-marked, or regulated as a medical device in any jurisdiction. It is a consumer health tracking application designed for personal record-keeping only. It is not intended for medical diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision-making.
Yes! You can create multiple child profiles within one Pediary account. Each child has their own separate health timeline, making it easy to track siblings or multiple children in your care. All profiles are protected with the same security measures.
