Four ways to add them
Scan, photos, PDF or by hand
"Scan pages" with the camera, "Choose photos" from your library, "Import PDF" with the file the lab sent you, up to 10 pages, or "Enter manually".
Photograph the pages or import the lab's PDF: Pediary reads them on your phone and suggests the results, values and collection date, which you check before saving. Then you find every value with its history, for a child, for yourself or for a relative.
100% Free, No Ads
From version 3.3, on iPhone and Android.

Lab results arrive on paper, as a PDF by email or in a hospital or lab portal. The ultrasound is in a drawer, the discharge summary in another folder, and on the day of the visit you have to put it all back together.
"What was the ferritin at the last check? When was the last ultrasound? Do you have the report with you?"
You don't need to remember everything: you need one place to keep every document, with the values it contains.
An archive that transcribes, without judging
Pediary is a free app for iPhone and Android, with no Pediary account and no ads, that keeps lab tests and medical reports for children and adults, reads the pages of Italian and English reports on the phone, and shows how values change over time.

Features
Scan, photos, PDF or by hand
"Scan pages" with the camera, "Choose photos" from your library, "Import PDF" with the file the lab sent you, up to 10 pages, or "Enter manually".
Value, unit, range and flag
Each result keeps name, value, unit, reference range and lab flag exactly as they are on the page, even when the result is a word like "Negative". Pediary never adds ranges of its own.
Flagged in red, no judgement
When the lab added a flag or the number falls outside the printed range, the result is shown in red with the words "outside the range given by the lab", and repeated at the top of the test.
A chart for each result
The chart lines up the values with the same unit, with the band of the range given by the lab in the latest test. Values without a number, such as "Negative", stay in the list.
11 categories, plus your own
Ultrasounds and X-rays, discharge summaries, emergency room, certificates and more: each report links to one or more visits, and opens from the visit with one tap.
Search and sharing
"Search lab tests and results..." also looks in the text read from the pages. "Share PDF" and "Share text" prepare what the doctor needs.
From the "+" button choose "Lab test" or "Medical report", then scan the pages, choose photos or import the PDF.
Pediary reads the pages on your phone and suggests the results. Check every value against the pages before saving: uncertain results arrive switched off.
In the "Diary" open "Lab tests" or "Medical reports", follow how each result changes and share the PDF with the doctor.
Yes: no subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads. Lab tests, medical reports, charts and PDFs are all included.
No, you don't need a Pediary account. If you want to sync another phone or turn on automatic backup, you use your own Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive.

They leave only if you turn on sync, which is encrypted and works between phones with Pediary 3.3.0 or later, or backup to your own cloud, which is the same ZIP as the export and is not encrypted.
Results are recognized automatically in Italian and English reports. For reports in other languages the pages stay attached and you type the results by hand.
